BONAIRE – June 2026 — International award-winning photographer and architect Felicia Schuette has officially been appointed as the Official Photographer of Miss Universe Bonaire 2026, documenting the inspiring journey of the candidates competing for the prestigious title of Miss Universe Bonaire 2026.
Organized by the Miss Bonaire Organization, under the leadership of President Roderick Beaumont and Vice President Catalina Bonilla, this year's pageant celebrates beauty, intelligence, culture, leadership, and community engagement while preparing Bonaire's next representative for the world stage.
Three remarkable women are currently on the road to Miss Universe as they undergo an extensive program of education, training, community involvement, and personal development in preparation for the final competition:
Caroline Porras
Vivienne Vollebregt
Katherine Montero
The highly anticipated Miss Universe Bonaire 2026 Grand Finale and Crowning Event will take place on July 4th at Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, where one contestant will earn the honor of representing Bonaire at the internationally renowned Miss Universe 2026 competition in Puerto Rico.
As one of the world's most recognized beauty pageants, the Miss Universe Organization provides a global platform for women to inspire positive change, promote cultural understanding, and serve as ambassadors for their countries. For Bonaire, participating in Miss Universe is an important opportunity to showcase the island's talent, culture, and unique identity to millions of people around the world.
Throughout their journey toward the crown, the candidates have participated in a variety of educational workshops and professional training sessions designed to prepare them for the responsibilities of representing Bonaire internationally.
Among these experiences was an informative session hosted by Tourism Corporation Bonaire, where the candidates gained valuable insights into Bonaire's tourism industry and the important role ambassadors play in promoting the island worldwide. The delegates have also completed public speaking training aimed at developing confidence, communication skills, and leadership presence.
The contestants further deepened their connection to Bonaire's heritage through a cultural workshop at Terramar Museum, led by museum director Jude Finies. The session provided a meaningful exploration of Bonaire's rich history, traditions, and cultural identity, helping the candidates strengthen their understanding of the island they aspire to represent on the international stage.
In addition, the candidates participated in a self-discovery and personal growth workshop led by Yatzury Daal, focusing on confidence building, personal development, self-awareness, and empowerment—qualities essential to modern pageantry and leadership.
These activities represent only part of the comprehensive preparation program designed by the Miss Bonaire Organization, as the candidates continue their journey toward the Miss Universe Bonaire crown.
As Official Photographer, Felicia Schuette is honored to create the official visual representation of the delegates through a series of high-end editorial and pageant photography sessions. This includes the contestants' official Miss Universe headshots and a variety of creative photoshoots throughout the competition season.
Known internationally for her award-winning portrait photography, refined artistic vision, and commitment to excellence, Felicia Schuette brings years of professional expertise to the Miss Universe Bonaire platform. Her work has received international recognition through prestigious photography competitions and is celebrated for its elegance, authenticity, and exceptional attention to detail.
The candidates are also showcasing stunning designs by acclaimed fashion designer Julio Mora, whose creations contribute to the sophisticated visual identity of the Miss Universe Bonaire 2026 campaign.
"It is a tremendous honor to work alongside the Miss Bonaire Organization and contribute to the journey of these extraordinary women," says Felicia Schuette. "As a photographer, I believe imagery has the power to tell stories, inspire audiences, and celebrate the unique beauty, strength, and character of each contestant. I am proud to help showcase Bonaire and its future representative to the world through imagery created to the highest international industry standards."
As excitement continues to build toward the July 4th crowning event at Delfins Beach Resort, Bonaire looks forward to selecting the woman who will carry the island's flag to Puerto Rico and represent Bonaire at Miss Universe 2026.
The road to Miss Universe is now being walked for the third consecutive year, marking another exciting chapter in Bonaire's growing presence on the international pageant stage. After a 25-year hiatus, Bonaire proudly returned to the Miss Universe competition in 2024, opening a new era for the island on one of the world's most prestigious international stages.
The journey resumed with Ruby Pouchet, who became Bonaire's first Miss Universe representative of the modern era, competing at the Miss Universe 2024 competition in Mexico City. During her preparation on Bonaire, Felicia Schuette created a collection of striking and memorable images that helped showcase Ruby's elegance, confidence, and unique identity as Bonaire's representative to the world.
In 2025, Nicole Peiliker-Visser continued that legacy by representing Bonaire at the Miss Universe competition in Thailand. Nicole captured international attention and made global headlines as the oldest delegate in the competition at age 41, inspiring women around the world and demonstrating that confidence, purpose, and beauty transcend age.
Now, in 2026, Bonaire prepares to crown its third consecutive Miss Universe representative as Caroline Porras, Vivienne Vollebregt, and Katherine Montero continue their inspiring journey toward the crown. With each passing year, Bonaire's presence within the Miss Universe Organization grows in significance, providing an extraordinary platform to showcase the island's culture, talent, beauty, and tourism to a global audience.
The entire island will once again be watching with pride as the next ambassador of Bonaire takes her place on the road to Miss Universe, carrying the hopes of a nation and continuing the remarkable resurgence of Bonaire on the world stage.
